Roughly a mile WEST on the Lincoln Highway (US30), Even more bargains to be had, for true shoppers.

Strasburg Rail Road: Late 19th century and early 20th Century Steam Locomotive driven trains. Also featuring Thomas the Tank Engine several times each year. Located on SR741 in Strasburg. near The Pennsylvania Railroad Museum, Choo Choo Barn, Cherry Crest Farms - home of the Amazing Maize Maze in late summer and early fall. and so much more.

Aaron & Jessica's Amish Buggy Rides: The oldest, and best, authentic Amish Buggy Ride. Located on the Old Philadelphia Pike (SR340), between Bird-In-Hand and Intercourse, in the Plain and Fancy Complex.

Kitchen Kettle Village: Amish, and others, goods. A Canning Kitchen where you can get fresh jams, jellies, preserves, fruit butters, relishes, and so much more. Leather goods, Crafted wood, collectibles of many varieties, FRESH Fudge (get there early enough in the day, and you can watch them make it from scratch. Also, the Old Candle Barn in nearby. Also nearby... the Intercourse Soft Pretzel Factory and SO MUCH MORE!

Dienner's Restaurant: closes at 6pm, but the food is delicious. (roughly a mile and a half away)

Miller's Smorgasbord: One of Lancaster's oldest Smorgasbord restaurants. A total renovation of this facility was completed and they had their Grand RE-Opening on February 17, 2011. $3 off coupons available in our lobby - good for up to 6 people per coupon. Take all you want, want all you take!!

Good & Plenty: Serves Family Style. You will sit at a long table, usually with other people. They will bring out bowls of food, which you pass around the table, until you are so full you couldn't eat another bite... at which point they bring out dessert. If you go away hungry, it is your own fault.
